TheCCA360.com is a Web site intended to provide factual information about Corrections Corporation of America – from its quality private prison management services and programs, to its more than 17,000 employees that support the 66 facilities it operates.

Read first hand here stories and views shared by CCA employees and other citizens on the company and its impact in our communities.
It’s difficult to separate the facts from the reported myths about private prisons and CCA, especially if you follow some news accounts that rely on sources who are politically or professionally biased against the overall privatization of our nation’s prisons.
TheCCA360.com disputes the most common reported myths here.

CCA launches ccacommunities.com
Posted Dec 3, 2008
To enhance our communication with both new and existing communities, we have launched a new, informative website called www.ccacommunities.com.
This site gives detailed information through text, videos and photos about CCA's many community benefits, including 1) bringing stable careers and construction jobs; 2) stimulating the local economy through payment of taxes, utilities and salaries; and 3) being a strong corporate citizen.
With CCA having brought on-line nearly 9,400 beds through expansion and new construction this year, it is extremely important that we communicate to and educate the communities in which we are located - especially new towns where we are anticipating opening a new correctional center. We often must dispel some of the misperceptions about having "a prison in your backyard" to these new CCA communities.
This website is targeted towards local residents, elected officials, business and civic leaders, media and even organizations who may oppose privatization but are willing to learn the facts.
This site will continue to evolve, and we welcome feedback. As we enter brand new communities, we will be developing specialized sections of this website just for those communities (such as the Pahrump, Nevada web pages located on the site).
Please feel free to send this site link to consultants, community relations committees or others who might find it of value.
